The wildest mountains Hunting and filming
It has been several years since I incorporated the video camera into my hunting days and I have to say it was a real find.
Through the lens I have found a way to transmit, at least minimally, all those precious moments that wild spaces give to those who know how to look at it.
Today is an essential complement in each and every one of my outings. And for a sample I leave you some of my latest video reports with the intention that you enjoy them as much as I did recording them.
If you make click on the following YouTube logo you can access my channel where you will find all my hunting adventures as well as product analysis and real hunting tests. However, I leave you a selection of some of my best hunting videos. Enjoy them.
15. STALKING MOUFLON AND SPANISH IBEX
Hunting through the red Levantine lands, stalking mouflon and spanish ibex. This time my father was the protagonist of this story …
In this hunting adventure (recorded in 2019 and broadcast on Iberalia tv) we set out to stalk two different species in a place full of large ravines and kermes oak scrub. We had some very complicated hunting days because of the wind that made us even think about leaving it for other dates, but the tenacity of the team made the results arrive, managing to record the hunting and the two sets as best I could.
Each corner of our mountains has its own charm and peculiarity. I declare myself addicted to touring the wildest places in search of new challenges and hunts to remember. This time hunting mouflon and spanish ibex, we were able to experience four truly memorable stalking days …
With the illusion that you like it.
A hug

14. MOUNTAIN HUNT IN BOÑAR
On this occasion we were lucky to be able to enjoy a mountain hunt in Boñar, north of the province of León. The northern slopes have a marked wild character, due to their orography, there are lost mountains that are difficult to access where both passion and good physical shape are essential requirements to face the days.
Family hunts, close and with the purity that the mountains keep where bears and wolves still have their refuge, make the sensations completely different.
Boñar is a municipality in León known for its Museum of Wild Fauna, highly recommended for any hunter and nature lover, where it also has semi-free animals (roe deer, wild boar, chamois, wolves, European bison, etc …).
It is a privilege to be able to enjoy this day and share the values of Cinegetics with many friends. Always in defense of the simple hunting, the wild game, and the true passion that the lost mountains awaken.
Here you have a video of that day with the intention that you enjoy it.
A hug, Jerónimo Cuesta.

13. THE LAND OF THE WOLF
Few places in Spain boast the magic that the Sierra de la Culebra treasures and, if you can also enjoy a complete hunting experience with your father and brother, as well as with good friends, an indelible memory is guaranteed in your memory.
Zamora, La Tierra del Lobo, the place chosen by the legendary canid to turn his corners into an eternal source of mystery. The mother of the biggest stags in the Iberian Peninsula is once again the protagonist of this video with the intention of showing the world a piece of the beauty of her wild land.
The place where I learned what little I know, to which I keep a very special affection. Every September a strange chill runs through my body, it is rut time. As every year I return to merge in its heaths seeking to hear the bellowing of the deer that claim their little piece of the world at this time.
Without further delay I leave you the video that I have recorded with so much affection with the illusion that it will serve as a small tribute to nature and places so pure and wild that Zamora hides, God bless the Land of the Wolf.
I wanted to personally thank the entire nursery for their professionalism and involvement in making it possible for this video to go ahead and especially to my father, my eternal reference.
Thank you all for everything and towards wild routes, always …
A hug. Jerónimo Cuesta

12. AN UNEXPECTED WILD BOAR
Sometimes, when you least expect it, moments appear that will remain forever in the best corners of memories. This is certainly one of them.
That afternoon, hunting with some friends, we were getting ready to wait for the roe deer at the end of July to try to make the most of the first days of heat and, without expecting it at all, in full daylight, a wild boar appeared from among the heather to give place at a few moments of indescribable tension … Fortunately I managed to record everything I could to share it with you, here is the video of how we got one of the largest wild boar that has been hunted in my family.
Thank you all very much and hoping you like it.
A hug. Jerome Cuesta

11. AN UNREPEATABLE CHAMOIS
Mountain hunting entered my veins long ago to stay forever. There is no more demanding and complete modality in which the hunter is subjected to similar physical stress and this is where you truly put yourself to the test. The mountain brings out the best and worst of each one and, if you respect their times and forms, the reward is immense. Beautiful scenes that are burned into the hearts of true lovers of wild nature.
On this occasion we returned to the province of León to enjoy a few days on the Cantabrian chamois hunting, as almost always, as a family, which adds even more emotions to an already very passionate hunt.
With the intention that you like my last hunting adventure through wild routes.

10. HUNTING DEERS ALONE
The most beautiful thing about hunting is just putting yourself to the test. You and the mountain, nothing more. On this occasion I was lucky enough to be able to get hold of this beautiful deer in a preserve near the Sierra de la Culebra. I managed to see him from a great distance and with patience, the calm when I approached it and good fortune made luck smile at me again.
Also, thanks to my stubbornness, I was able to record most of the process so I can share it with you.
With the illusion that you like it.

9. THE KING AND THE PRINCE
León, that province where ibex wild males and chamois roam the same hills and mountains. A wonder for the senses to be able to enjoy tremendous mountain hunting days on its peaks.
Los Ancares, an addiction that year after year I try to feed.
I am passionate about hunting because of how it makes me feel in connection with the environment, because of the efforts that it involves for man, without the appropriate physical attributes, to chase ibex and chamois through those mountains of God but, also, I love tell it, I love share my adventures , my hunting stories and leave a memory mark in this wonderful world that I inherited with pride.
The King and the Prince in the same photo is not achieved every day …
I hope you like it.

8. THREE SPANISH IBEX IN TERUEL
There are hunting days when luck smiles you and this is what happened to us in Teruel.
We went with the intention of stalking three males of spanish ibex but what we did not expect was to be able to hunt all three animals the same morning.
Thanks to a good guides and the choice of a good team we managed to do it.
A new adventure that is reflected in this video that I lovingly share with you.

7. HUNTING ON RUT, FILMING A DREAM
I have endeavored to show the world that hunting is not simply the moment of shooting, but is full of MAGICAL moments that only those who know how to look will be able to see. And it is for that purpose that after many early rises and sunsets, many hours in the mountains fused with nature I have tried to capture in this video and I think I can say, without risk of being wrong, that I have succeeded.
And that is why I am proud to present you here today this video report that I have been preparing with dedication and care. With some beautiful moments that fail to do justice to the immense beauty that the mountain presents in the rut stag season and culminated, of course, with a fantastic stalking of a great red stag of more than 215 CIC points that will not leave indifferent to no one.
Thanks to all those who have always believed in Cinegetics, who have collaborated to make this video possible because of their trust, I think the result has been worth it.
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy it.
Sincerely.

6. CHALLENGE ON THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS
And hunting in Spain sometimes you find incredible places. Who was going to tell us that Valencia was hiding this surprise.
The beautiful places where we were recently able to successfully develop hunting of a beautiful ibex male belong to the Muela de Cortes reserve.
And, recording everything I could, always with infinite respect for the true protagonist, the animal.
Enjoy it.

5. THE MONSTER OF THICKNESS
Today is one of those days that remain in your memory forever, a day engraved with that fire that marks your memories until the rest of your days.
Today I was able to get him after many months of struggle.
He made a mistake, the only one so far that I was aware of, a small slip perhaps caused by the change of time, and more by chance than by my skill I was able to get him.

4. ONE OF THE GREAT
Spectacular stag that I managed to hunt after a very hard stalking. Undoubtedly the best hunting experience I have ever had, not only because of the quality of the trophy but also because of the physical demand involved in approach in to shot distance (advancing at an archer’s pace) and getting it out of there.
I had to carry part of the meat, the head and the rifle on my back for several km, which was not easy for me.
I adore this way of life and the sensations it gives me … and may God bless the mountain and all those who love it.
Enjoy it …

3. THE FEMALE ROE DEER FROM THE OAK
It fills me with pride to present you another hunting self-production with a lot of dedication and effort in which we try to show that the trophy is not everything, but a small part that does not alter the pure essence of hunting. We hope you like it and long live to hunting, the Mount and all those who love it.
Enjoy it …

2. A CHAMOIS IN THE ANCARES
Beautiful chamois stalking that we were able to do recently in Los Ancares, there we had the opportunity to enjoy incredible moments and witness the wonders that this place offers us.
A privilege that I wanted to capture in this mountain hunting video for your enjoyment.
Greetings colleagues.

1. A GOLD MEDAL RED STAG FROM ZAMORA
One word sums it up well, SPECTACULAR.
Impressive deer that we managed to hunt this year during the rut in the Sierra de la Culebra (Zamora). Thanks to the good work of the nursery that has allowed us to enjoy this precious stalking with a better ending than expected.
